A Time of Reflection, Gratitude & Hope
On Sunday, the 21st of May, I will be blessed to celebrate another year of life, and can honestly say that the journey thus far has been amazing!
I wouldn’t change a single thing, am grateful for every moment, both those of joy and those of challenge, for without them all I wouldn’t be where I am or who I’ve become.
Could I have made different choices along the way? Well, we can all say that after each life experience. But those choices that could have been different or better, are all part of life’s lessons and the bigger picture, a true testimony to the wonderful fact that God uses all we journey through for a greater good in His plan and purpose for each of us.
As we get older we can see more clearly how God has, and always will…have His hand upon us in everything!
Age is a number that happens to all of us. It is a true blessing, not a curse, as the world we live in sometimes tries to tell us. Youth has its moment, but so does each year that we are given.
As I get older, I cherish the little things more, hold onto the memories even tighter, and look forward to see how God will use all of my past to make me stronger, wiser and use me in a greater way for His plan and purpose.
My life isn’t over, in many ways it’s just beginning, for it’s never too late to begin a new dream and purpose.
Being here with all of you, through my writing and inspiring is a dream come true for me. And though some days I feel like throwing in the towel, asking myself am I really making a difference, I know in the deepest depths of my heart that this is exactly where I’m supposed to be and that God has a greater purpose than any I can see or imagine. And this is called perseverance, patience, and trust… the gifts that grow in us as long as we choose to see them as such.
So no matter how old or young you are, always keep on keeping on. God doesn’t quit “us” when we reach a certain number, nor should we ever give up on ourselves either.
Follow your heart, pursue your passions, age gracefully with love for who you are, and always be grateful for each year of life’s journey.
Live Lovingly Blessed Friends!
