Is time your enemy or your friend, do you perceive time as a hindrance or beneficial blessing. I presume the answer would depend on what your expectations are when making your plans with the time you have.
Our plans begin with an idea and then are given a deadline to achieve them. Time is precious, we don’t want to waste a moment of it and so we intricately plan every detail of our time to try to make the best of it.
And while we’re fretting and stressing with all this time management to accomplish every plan and goal, we tend to forget that our time in these things is not only ours to orchestrate, for there are so many other circumstances in life that can get in the way of “our” perfectly timed plan.
Other people’s choices and needs affect our plans and schedules, unforeseen twists, turns and glitches that show up out of nowhere, as well as all of those extra steps that many plans require, but we didn’t prepare for.
In all of this time strategy craziness, we tend to forget that there is a greater power managing “all” of our time, the One who’s timing is all knowing, all wise, and is always the best for each of us…and that is our God!
Our eyes may not see all that He is doing, but our hearts should always be open to His timing first and foremost, because He works out the perfect plan in every life and each situation.
He sees the things that we can not, knows all it will take to achieve the best outcome for us, and is the one who can put that plan into action perfectly. He works out all the details while life continues on in a steady flow for everyone, keeping impeccable order in a world full of so many people with so many plans.
God is always working behind the scenes for us. Many times we are inpatient and want everything now! But good things take time, even with God. There are so many steps that need to be taken… with billions of people and worldly circumstances that all need to “sync” together before the best outcome can be achieved for everyone.
And because we all have free will in our own choices and what we select to see and hear, it may take a little longer for God to get everyone on the same page, for He doesn’t force anything on anyone.
When things don’t seem to be going according to your time schedule, stop for a moment, take a deep breath and trust Him. He is keeping you from harm, opening unseen doors, and doing all the things that need to be taken care of, including preparing you to be ready to receive the best plan ever.
Include God in every plan you make, give Him time to work things out, and trust in patience while you wait for Him to present the best plan for your life, in His perfect way and timing.
Peace, Patience, and Trust my Friends
