Hi Friends! I received the Hubby and I’s journals a few days ago and thought I would share a few more ideas that came to mind. So let’s get to it!
The Hubby’s Journal is perfect for him. Small in size, not overwhelming, and for him this is a good thing and he’s actually doing some journaling for the first time! It also has scripture printed on each page, which I love!
I chose this journal for myself and I love that it can hold five years of gratefulness all in one tidy place, my favorite feature for sure!
I decided to add a pocket folder to the back of my journal. I just glued it to the back cover, easy as that. You can find similar pocket folders here and here. Just make sure the sizes will line up with the dimensions of your journal.
Why a pocket, you may be asking? To keep those little mementos, special photos, a card or a note, and “yes” my favorite…sticky notes. I confess, I am a sticky note addict and use them for so many reasons, but for now we won’t go there…lol. You can find some of my favorites in a variety of sizes right here and here.
Last and final thought…I promise…This journal focused on gratitude is so much more, as it transpires into a cherished recollection of wonderful life memories to pass on to your children and/or grandchildren someday. I just love when things grow into something greater, beyond the original idea we started with.
Happy journaling friends. I hope this journey touches your hearts and lives in greater ways than you ever expected or could even imagine.
