How many times do we become so consumed with all of life’s problems, issues, and chaotic circumstances, that we tend to overlook and neglect to acknowledge the gifts and blessings that God bestows in our lives on a daily basis.
So this week we’re going to change things up a bit, by working together on a “Gratitude Journal”, for not only one, but TWO consecutive weeks. We can interact and “journal” together by sharing our ideas, inspirations, and testimonies as we focus on our blessings and how they are touching our daily lives.
I hope you will join me on this interactive journey…I think it will be lots of fun!
Personally, I love to use a specific book set aside for this exact purpose. A place to inscribe my grateful reminders, the “old fashioned” way, of pen to paper. Creating my own personal story of gratitude and wonderful memories, to reflect on and always remember, how gratefully blessed my life truly is.
It’s up to you to choose what will work best for you; a notebook, a journal, a calendar, or even a section in your daily planner. Make it personal, fun and inviting, something that grabs your attention and encourages you to take that little bit of time each day to focus on all things grateful.
So let’s get started! Here are few examples to spark some ideas, and links to where you can find them.
This set of small inexpensive, notebooks, that can fit in a purse or pocket can be located here. A great way to have your journal readily available for those surprise blessings that come out of nowhere.
Guys, want something a little more masculine? Check this one out, as well as a few other choices that I’ve included at the links below.
Do you Gals desire something more fun, flirty and “pretty-ful”? I found this lovely one, along with a few more options for you to explore by following the additional links below.
My all time favorite is this one…a journal that will keep all your gratefulness for five whole years! You can find out all the details right here.
So there you have it. A few ideas to explore, and become inspired to find the perfect journal for you. If nothing else, get a notebook at Walmart or your local dollar store, to get started on your own gratitude journal.
I hope you are as excited as I am, to embark on this wonderful “Journaling Journey” together!
